Top Gun 2026 Christmas Advent Calendar – his One Had Me Looking for the Jets Before I Even Counted the 24 Pieces
The box does a pretty good job of setting the scene before anything is opened.
An aircraft carrier at sunset. Fighter jets overhead. A flight helmet marked “Maverick.” Aviator sunglasses sitting in the foreground.
And right across the top:
TOP GUN – 40TH ANNIVERSARY – 1986–2026.
It feels less like a traditional Christmas box and more like somebody turned an aviation movie poster into a December countdown.
Then I looked at the 24 designs beside it, and that’s where the Top Gun 2026 Christmas Advent Calendar gets much more fun.

It’s Not Just 24 Fighter Jets
That would have been the obvious route.
Instead, the pictured collection jumps between aircraft, pilot-inspired figures, flight gear, movie-style moments, and small objects that immediately fit the Top Gun theme.
There are multiple fighter jet designs, several figures in flight suits, a deck-crew-inspired character, a motorcycle, a flight jacket, aviator sunglasses with dog tags, and four different pilot helmet designs.
One of my favorites is the little “Danger Zone 1986–2026” sign wrapped in Christmas lights. It’s such an odd combination of holiday decorating and aviation nostalgia that it works.
There’s even a jukebox-style piece, which changes the mood again and gives the set another connection to the retro atmosphere surrounding the original film era.
The Helmets Would Probably Get Their Own Row on My Shelf
The four helmet pieces immediately caught my attention because each has its own markings.
The pictured designs include Maverick, Goose, Iceman, and Rooster themes, all sharing the recognizable flight-helmet shape while using different graphics.
Displayed together, they almost feel like a miniature collection inside the larger collection.
And that’s something this calendar does well.
You could keep all 24 pieces together, or break them into smaller groups: jets in one area, helmets together, character-style figures on another shelf, and accessories mixed among existing movie memorabilia.
The countdown may be for December, but the display doesn’t really need to end on Christmas morning.

Day 24 Would Leave Me With a Tiny Top Gun Display
That’s probably how I’d use this calendar.
Open one piece each day, place it on a shelf, and gradually watch the scene build.
By the end, you’ve gone from one box to a collection filled with aircraft, helmets, flight suits, aviation symbols, and retro references.
The package even carries phrases such as “Same Skies Bigger Dreams” and “Fly Further,” reinforcing that whole high-altitude adventure feel.
Christmas trees and fighter jets shouldn’t necessarily belong in the same sentence.
Yet here we are.
And somehow it works.
