The Wizard Of Oz Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar – I Thought I’d Arrange Them by Character. Then I Saw the Ruby Slippers.
Dorothy would obviously go first.
Toto beside her.
Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion could follow, and I’d have the beginnings of a very tidy little Oz display.
Then I reached the bottom row.
There’s a miniature Yellow Brick Road surrounded by poppies.
A pair of bright red slippers.
An Oz hot-air balloon.
And a tiny house inside a “HOME” globe.
At that point, my character lineup was finished.
This wasn’t going to be just a shelf of figures anymore. It was turning into a miniature version of the journey itself.

Some Days Give You a Character. Others Give You a Memory From the Story.
That’s the detail that makes the The Wizard Of Oz Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar feel different from a collection of 24 similar figures.
The pictured assortment mixes people and creatures with recognizable pieces of Oz imagery.
Dorothy’s blue-and-white look appears near the beginning alongside Toto. The Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion complete the familiar traveling group, while witch and Glinda-inspired designs bring another side of Oz into the lineup.
Those companions are central to the classic 1939 film: Dorothy travels the Yellow Brick Road toward Emerald City and meets the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion along the way.
But I think I’d be just as curious about the non-character days.
Opening a pair of ruby slippers after several figures would be a nice surprise.
Finding a tiny Yellow Brick Road the next morning would be even better.
The Bottom Row Quietly Tells the Whole Story
Look at those final pieces together and there’s almost a tiny narrative hiding there.
The road.
The slippers.
Oz.
And finally, Home.
The ruby slippers are particularly recognizable because they became one of the defining visual symbols of the 1939 film. Interestingly, Dorothy’s shoes were silver in L. Frank Baum’s original book; the movie adaptation changed them to ruby red.
That makes the little red-shoe collectible more than just another colorful accessory in the set.
And putting “Home” at the end feels especially fitting.
I wouldn’t even want to move that one.
Twenty-Four Days Down the Yellow Brick Road
The box presents the collection as a 24 Figure Collector Set, giving the calendar enough room to explore more than just the most recognizable faces.
There are familiar Oz-inspired figures, Munchkin-style characters in different colors, Emerald City imagery, witches, a balloon, poppies, ruby slippers and other story-inspired pieces.
Visually, it works beautifully as a group.
Emerald green appears throughout, but there’s also Dorothy’s blue, the Tin Man’s silver, ruby red, bright Munchkin colors, pink, purple and the unmistakable yellow of the road.
By Christmas, the finished collection looks like a tiny Oz world rather than 24 disconnected surprises.
