The Grinch Collectible Custom Mini Helmet Set – I Started With the Grinch… Then Somehow Ended Up in Whoville

The first helmet makes the introduction pretty easy.

There he is.

That green face, narrowed yellow eyes, Santa hat, and the expression of someone who absolutely has a Christmas plan—and probably shouldn’t be trusted with it.

The red facemask makes the green artwork stand out even more.

But the helmet beside it changes everything.

Instead of another giant character portrait, the Classic Heritage design looks almost like an illustrated Christmas storybook wrapped around a football helmet. Snow-covered houses, decorated trees, presents, and a walking Grinch silhouette fill the cream-colored background.

Same story.

Completely different mood.

That’s when I realized this set was going to be more interesting than six Grinch helmets in different colors.

Max Might Be My Favorite Surprise

Look at the third helmet and you’ll find Max, complete with the little antler tied to his head.

His portrait takes up most of the brown background, surrounded by snowflakes, a red bow, and Christmas details. A dark green facemask finishes the look.

It’s such a different design from the first two that I’d want all three sitting next to one another.

Grinch gives you the mischief.

The illustrated helmet gives you the story.

Max gives you that wonderfully loyal sidekick energy.

And then the bottom row takes us straight into Whoville.

The Whoville Helmet Looks Like Christmas Exploded—in a Good Way

Bright blue sky.

Snow everywhere.

Candy-colored buildings.

Christmas trees.

Candy canes.

And right in the middle:

“Welcome to WHOVILLE.”

This is probably the happiest-looking helmet in the The Grinch Collectible Custom Mini Helmet Set, which makes it even funnier sitting near the grumpy Grinch portrait above it.

Next comes the Christmas Legacy design.

That one is much calmer, using deep green, snow-covered mountains, stars, presents, and a large red heart alongside the words:

“CHRISTMAS MEANS MORE.”

The heart is a nice touch because it shifts the collection away from pure Christmas mischief and toward the warmer side of the story.

And Then the Last Helmet Brings the Sleigh

Of course it does.

The sixth design returns to the Grinch, but this time he’s sitting in a red-and-gold sleigh piled with colorful presents.

Snowy mountains rise behind him, while a miniature Whoville-inspired scene runs along the bottom.

This is the helmet I’d probably put at the end of the display.

It feels like a finale.

You start with the Grinch’s face.

Travel through the story, Max, and Whoville.

And finish with a sleigh full of Christmas chaos.
