Space Stamps Collection Advent Calendar 2026 – It Reminded Me of an Old Stamp Album — Just Much More Fun

I didn’t immediately think “Christmas ornament” when I first saw this calendar.

My first thought was actually an old stamp collection.

Each little piece has that familiar perforated-edge shape, but instead of countries and postmarks, the artwork takes you somewhere much farther away. One ornament shows Saturn. Another has a space shuttle lifting off. Then there are galaxies, astronauts, planets and even a UFO.

That was what made me want to keep looking.

The calendar doesn’t feel like 24 versions of the same ornament with slightly different pictures. It feels more like opening a tiny space archive one piece at a time.

There are 24 acrylic ornaments in the collection, so the fun isn’t really about seeing everything at once.

I’d rather open one each day.

One morning it might be Mars or Earth. Another day could reveal a rocket, astronaut, telescope, comet, asteroid, constellation, space station, or an image inspired by the Milky Way.

Some of my favorites are actually the simpler designs. A single planet against that dark starry background has such a nice retro astronomy-book feeling to it.

The deep navy, cream and warm gold palette helps too. Instead of going for a bright cartoon-space look, the artwork feels slightly nostalgic—as though someone took illustrations from an old space-exploration book and turned them into collectible stamps.

I Wouldn’t Put These Away When the Countdown Ends

That’s probably my favorite thing about the Space Stamps Collection Advent Calendar 2026.

The countdown may end, but the collection doesn’t really have to.

The stamp-style pieces can become part of your Christmas decorating, while the space theme makes them interesting enough to display beyond the initial advent experience. For someone who loves astronomy, rockets, planets or vintage-style collectibles, opening all 24 is almost like gradually assembling a tiny gallery.

And I can imagine this being especially fun when two people open it together.

“What’s today’s one?”

“Saturn.”

Tomorrow, maybe you’re landing on the Moon.
