Jack Skellington Collectible Plush Doll – Somehow He Looks Creepy and Friendly at the Same Time

This is one of those collectibles where I knew exactly who I was looking at before I even noticed the name on the box.

Big black eyes. That long stitched grin. The impossibly thin black suit.

Jack.

What I like most is that the plush treatment doesn’t try to make him look completely different. His proportions are softer and a little more playful, but the character still has that wonderfully odd silhouette that belongs somewhere between Halloween night and Christmas morning.

And that makes him surprisingly easy to display.

The Pinstripe Suit Really Makes the Character

Without the suit, it would just be a cute skeleton plush.

Here, the details give him his personality.

The body is dressed in a black suit covered with thin white pinstripes, finished with skeletal white hands and a large black bat-inspired bow tie around the neck. His oversized round head keeps the familiar hollow-eyed expression and stitched smile front and center.

Everything stays within a mostly black-and-white palette, so the doll has a much more distinctive look than a typical brightly colored character collectible.

I’d probably put him beside a few pumpkins in October, then leave him right where he is when the Christmas decorations come out.

He fits both.
