Houston Astros Collector Pop Figure Set – I Was Looking at the Baseball Figures. Then I Saw the Tiny Grill.
That’s the problem with this set.
There are plenty of things that should have caught my attention first.
The batter is already in his stance. The green mascot-style figure is waving a huge Houston flag. Another figure is holding up an enormous trophy-inspired piece.
But somebody decided the seated fan also needed his own miniature barbecue.
Now that’s all I can see.
He’s sitting there in sunglasses and headphones with a drink in one hand, a hot dog in the other and the little Astros-style grill parked beside his chair.
Apparently everyone else can worry about the baseball.
He came prepared for lunch.

Five Different Versions of a Houston Baseball Day
What keeps the Houston Astros Collector Pop Figure Set interesting is that the five designs aren’t trying to do the same thing.
The green mascot-style character is pure enthusiasm, dressed in a white Astros-style uniform while waving a navy flag and pointing upward.
Next to him, the batter changes the mood completely. White uniform, navy helmet, bat raised and eye-black-style markings—the pose looks focused rather than celebratory.
Then there’s the fan in the knit hat.
She’s bundled up in navy and orange with a matching scarf and an oversized #1 foam finger, looking like she intends to make herself heard from several sections away.
Three figures in, and the set already feels more like a crowd than a conventional player collection.
The Bottom Two Are Basically Opposite Personalities
I’d put these two beside each other on purpose.
On the left: maximum relaxation.
Cap low. Sunglasses on. Headphones covering his ears. Drink ready. Hot dog secured. Grill nearby.
On the right: maximum celebration.
The player-style figure wears a white uniform marked 44, raises one fist and holds a tall trophy-inspired piece in the other hand.
One looks like he hasn’t stood up since the first inning.
The other looks like sitting down is no longer an option.
That’s the sort of small visual contrast that makes a five-piece collection much more fun to arrange.
I’d Build the Display Around the Fans, Not Just the Players
Normally I’d put the baseball figures in front and everything else behind them.
Not here.
I’d place the flag-waving green character on one side and the winter fan with her foam finger on the other. The batter could occupy the center, with the celebrating figure nearby.
Then I’d leave the seated guy slightly forward.
Mostly because of the grill.
The repeated navy, orange, white and star-H-inspired graphics make the five designs feel connected even though their poses and outfits are completely different. The pictured black presentation boxes also create a clean backdrop for the brighter figures.

Everybody Came to the Same Game for a Different Reason
That’s what I’d remember about this collection.
One came to play.
One came to wave the flag.
One brought the foam finger.
One is already celebrating.
And one apparently decided that if he was going to watch baseball, there had better be a hot dog involved.
The Houston Astros Collector Pop Figure Set works because those five little personalities make the display feel like more than five figures wearing matching colors.
It’s basically a miniature baseball day—with considerably less parking.
