Grinch Colorado Rockies Ornament Christmas 2026

Grinch Colorado Rockies Ornament Christmas 2026 – Purple Was Made for the Grinch

Some team colors simply work unusually well with a character—and this combination is one of them.

The Grinch’s bright green face sits against deep purple and black, creating an immediate contrast that makes the character stand out even among colorful Christmas decorations. Rather than surrounding him with extra scenery, the design lets the Colorado Rockies-inspired baseball look carry the theme from top to bottom.

A purple-and-black Santa hat introduces the Christmas element, complete with white trim and a CR-style emblem. The same palette continues into the black baseball jersey, where purple piping frames the front and Rockies-style lettering stretches across the chest.

White pinstriped pants then break up the darker upper half before the design returns to purple at the shoes.

Bat on One Shoulder, Baseball in the Other

The accessories tell most of the baseball story.

A wooden-look bat rests casually across the Grinch’s shoulder while he holds a baseball in his opposite hand. Instead of capturing a specific play, the pose brings together two of the game’s most recognizable objects in one compact composition.

It also fits the character’s expression perfectly.

With narrowed yellow eyes and that familiar mischievous grin, he looks less like someone waiting patiently for Christmas and more like someone who already has a plan for the next inning.

The bat includes another CR-style detail near its end, extending the Rockies-inspired identity beyond the uniform itself.

A Retro Baseball Character for the Christmas Tree

The artwork uses a pixel-inspired visual style, giving the Grinch block-like outlines and a nostalgic game-character appearance. That treatment works particularly well with the baseball theme: cap-style graphics, pinstripes, oversized sneakers, bat and ball all remain easy to recognize without making the composition overly busy.

Christmas details are kept relatively simple. The Santa hat provides the strongest seasonal cue, allowing the rest of the ornament to feel unapologetically baseball-focused.

For a Rockies fan, that balance is part of the appeal. The Grinch Rockies Christmas ornament does not leave baseball behind when December arrives—it simply gives game-day colors a place among the lights, pine branches and other ornaments collected over the years.
