Florida Gators Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar – This Set Made Me Want to Build a Starting Lineup of Helmets
Not players.
Helmets.
Because once I started looking through all 24 designs, I immediately began sorting them in my head.
The classic orange ones go together. The deep blue helmets get their own row. White designs in the middle. Then there are a few that deserve the front simply because they’re so different.
That’s what makes the Florida Gators Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar more interesting than I expected.
It doesn’t feel like someone took one helmet and changed the background color 23 times.

Orange and Blue Are Just the Beginning
The first few designs establish the Gators look quickly: orange, blue, white, the familiar alligator graphic, Florida lettering and the bold “F.”
Then the collection starts experimenting.
One helmet uses the outline of Florida. Another features palm trees. There are “Go Gators” and “The Swamp” designs, stadium-inspired artwork, an American flag treatment and multiple takes on the Gator motif.
The real Florida football program identifies orange and blue as part of its game-day tradition, and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is widely known as “The Swamp,” so those visual references fit naturally into the collection’s Florida football theme.
The variety makes opening each compartment feel less predictable.
Gold tomorrow?
No.
Another Gator—but this time on bright orange.
Then white.
Then blue.
Then something completely different.
My Favorite Ones Might Be the Helmets That Feel Like Florida
The obvious team graphics look great, but the designs that caught me were actually the ones that add a sense of place.
Palm trees against a white helmet.
The state outline.
The stadium scene.
“The Swamp.”
Those little touches take the collection beyond a simple set of football logos. They connect it to Gainesville and the atmosphere surrounding Florida football.
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium has been the home of Florida football since its original construction in 1930, and the university continues to use “The Swamp” as a central part of the stadium’s identity.
For somebody whose memories involve Saturdays in Gainesville, that may be the detail that makes a particular helmet the favorite.
By Day 24, the Calendar Becomes the Display
That’s the nice thing about this format.
December gives you an excuse to reveal them slowly.
After that, you have all 24 mini helmets together.
I’d arrange the classic Gators designs first, put the Florida-themed helmets together, then inevitably move everything around because one row suddenly looks better than another.
The orange, blue and white palette keeps the full collection visually connected even though the individual artwork changes considerably from helmet to helmet.
